According to the analyst, Apple will release new redesigned Apple Silicon Mac models in the second half of 2021.

Reliable analyst Kuo talked about Apple Silicon Macs, Apple Watch 2021, AirPods 3, and iPad mini-LED in new research note.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to release new Apple Silicon MacBook models in the second half of 2021 , as part of the two-year transition from Intel processors across its range of Macs.

Additionally, the analyst said these machines will feature a new design. Kuo did not specify which models they will be but previously stated that the redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with Apple Silicon chips will launch at the end of the second or third quarter of 2021.

The first Macs with the M1 chip, the new MacBook Air, the entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro, and the Mac mini, started hitting customers last week. Currently, the models that continue to use Intel processors are the 13-inch MacBook Pro with four Thunderbolt ports, 16-inch MacBook Pro, iMac, iMac Pro, and Mac Pro.

Kuo added that demand for the new iPad Air was better than expected . Looking ahead to 2021, he expects the iPad’s growth to be driven by the adoption of new technologies such as mini-LED displays and support for 5G. Kuo also predicts that the company will release a new low-cost iPad in the second half of 2021, presumably the ninth generation iPad .

In addition to this, the analyst also predicts that the  third generation AirPods will be launched at the end of the second quarter of 2021. He previously stated that the design of the AirPods 3 will be “similar to that of the AirPods Pro”, but they will not have the same Premium features, such as active noise cancellation.
