Kaspersky also confirms that Face ID is a much safer system than the previous Touch ID.

iPhone X abandons the Home button and introduces the Face ID as the unlocking system by replacing the Touch ID. Apple pointed out that Face ID is indeed a lot safer than the Touch ID but somebody wanted to investigate these words.

This “someone” is Kaspersky  who, after careful scrutiny, would appreciate what Apple said at its latest keynote, confirming that Face ID  is a much safer and more reliable system than the previous Touch ID.

Technology, in fact, would not work in any way with photos or the like, since the latter are not characterized by the depth of 3D of the infrared points sought by the system, and would have a particular system (coupled with the 7 megapixel front camera) made up an infrared sensor , a dot projector, and an illuminator, which insimee make up the True Depth camera .

For example, with the competition, Samsung’s Face Unlock system has been pretty easy-going with simple selfies. So we do not have to wait until November 3 to be able to help with this new recognition system.

The odds of wrestling the Touch ID were 1 out of 50,000 while Face IDs are 1 out of 1,000,000.
