Intel continues to hit Apple and its new M1 chips.
Apple and Intel have collaborated for several years, but from November 2020 the Cupertino company has officially started the transition to its chips.
Despite the M1 chips being praised for its great performance and efficiency, Intel has launched a new advertising campaign in which it highlights the operations that users cannot perform on a Mac M1.
The new campaign has been launched on Twitter and other websites claiming that there are certain tasks that only Windows PCs can perform . In one of the new announcements, the chip maker claims that “only one PC offers tablet mode, touch screen and stylus functionality in a single device”.

The second announcement of the campaign is even more aggressive. The company says Macs aren’t ideal for engineers and games, as Windows has a larger catalogue of software and games than macOS. “If you can start Rocket League, you are not on a Mac,” the campaign reads, as the game has not been available on macOS since last year.

The campaign also includes a video with YouTuber Jon Rettinger highlighting the benefits of having a regular laptop instead of a MacBook M1, including standard USB ports, touch screen, eGPU support, and working with two external displays.
Last week, Intel shared a series of “carefully crafted” benchmarks comparing its 11th generation “Tiger Lake” i7 processor to Apple’s M1 chip in an attempt to prove its Intel processors are more powerful than those of the Cupertino giant.
Meanwhile, Apple plans to complete the transition from Intel processors by the end of 2022, when the company will no longer have Macs powered by the US firm’s processors
