Bloomberg reporter reveals Apple’s plans for upcoming Mac models powered by M2 chips.

In his Power On newsletter , Gurman reported that Apple also plans to launch at least one new Mac this spring, but it’s unclear if that Mac will be unveiled at the event to be held in a few weeks’ time.

This new Mac could be a high-end Mac mini powered by the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, as a replacement for the 27-inch iMac is expected to launch between August and September.

Additionally, the reporter reveals that Apple has at least four new Macs with M2 chips in the works , including updated models of the MacBook Air, entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro, 24-inch iMac and entry-level Mac mini. These Macs are likely to launch later in the year, after Apple finishes releasing the high-end machines powered by  the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

Gurman believes Apple will remove the Touch Bar from the new entry-level MacBook Pro and expects the notebook will not have a ProMotion display.
