Via TechCrunch we discovered an interesting new feature for the Facebook application on the iPhone and iPad. The famous social network is bringing the “Discover People” in the mobile application for iOS devices.
The “Discover People” for iOS is already being issued for all Facebook users. Thanks to it we can find new people with the similar to our interests without having to leave the convenient mobile application.
Developers have decided to place it in the application menu, accessible via the icon in the lower right of the Facebook home screen. Once opened, the social network will ask us (if they are not yet updated) to add our personal information in your profile, so as to optimize the search for new friends. By completing this update of personal data, we will immediately proposed a list of events to which we reported our interest. In this way we can find out right away what other people participate in the events and get in touch with them. Obviously research will also extend to other common parameters, like pages and groups of interest to us, friends in common, the place of origin and residence etc.
In addition to the simple “search friends”, the function would be interesting to find new clients for a certain brand, find out what other employees work for our company and other helpful tips for professional ends or otherwise.
