Reportedly, the 16-inch version of the MacBook Pro went into production and will be launched by the end of October or early November.

According to DigiTimes,  the MacBook Pro 16-inch Apple will be available in late October and early November, which suggests that an imminent announcement.

The report states that Taiwanese producer Quanta Computer has already launched shipments of the 16-inch MacBook Pro. The sources of the supply chain expect the new MacBook Pro will have a more reliable scissor keyboard, a ” design with ultra-thin frame ” and the last processor Coffee Lake Refresh Intel op processor Ice Lake, although Intel has not yet announced the chips Ice Lake appropriate for a high-end MacBook Pro.

The thinner frames would carry the 16-inch MacBook Pro to the same size as the existing 15-inch model despite having a larger display. IHS analyst Markit Jeff Lin said the notebook’s resolution would be 3,072 × 1,920 pixels.

Last week, icons depicting a MacBook Pro with thinner silver and sidereal grey frames were discovered in the macOS code Catalina 10.15.1 beta 2, giving credit to all previous rumours. Both icons were created just over a week ago, have “16” in the file name and refer to an unpublished MacBookPro model16,1.

Apple’s plans to release a 16-inch MacBook Pro were first revealed by Ming-Chi Kuo, who in February stated that the notebook would be released in 2019. Kuo later claimed that the notebook would be equipped with a scissor keyboard.

According to Kuo, Apple will position the 16-inch MacBook Pro in the high end of its notebook range, with existing MacBook Pro 15 and 13-inch models that will remain available and use scissor keyboards in 2020.
