Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis today shared his expectations of the 2019 and 2020 iPhones. The report was published following a trip to China and a visit to several Apple supplier sites.

The 2019 iPhones will not have major design changes, except for the triple camera on the back. Mass production will begin between July and August.

The 3D Touch will be completely eliminated from the iPhones of 2019. At the same time, the support of the Haptic Touch will expand (the one we find already on the iPhone XR)

The next generation of i Phone XR will have 4GB of RAM , compared to the current 3GB.

There will be many more changes to the iPhone of 2020 . They will include 5G modems, 3D sensors through the cameras, and a technology that will allow unlocking through a Touch ID with acoustic sensor , which will make it possible to position your finger anywhere on the screen instead of on the old (and deceased) Home button.

Some suppliers have mentioned a potential iPhone SE 2 with the same hardware as the iPhone 8. It will arrive at the beginning of 2020, but other suppliers are not aware of any details about it, so let’s consider it a rumour r.

LG should become the second OLED screen supplier for the 2019 iPhones, taking away 10-30% of the supply to Samsung.

Other rumours on upcoming iPhones include a somewhat different glass case to the touch, a larger battery, the ability to recharge the AirPods by placing them on the back
