Only today Apple has received approval of a patent filed in August, a continuation of work started in 2013 on the construction of a folding iPhone.
In particular it is a device that can be closed and opened as a kind of book, going from smartphone tablet in a single gesture.
The device would be made from carbon nanotubes and flexible displays, a combination that would allow the user to fold it on itself. For now the project is still too futuristic so do not expect this type of innovation in the coming years, but Apple continues to work and to patent its various technologies to get to that future in which similar smartphones could represent a new standard.
