The company is working on a brand new model of Apple TV with an A14 chip and an additional GB of RAM on a HomePod with an S8 chip.

Not just new M2 and Mac chips. In the latest edition of his newsletter, Gurman also talked about the upcoming Apple TV and HomePod model.

Codenamed B620, the new HomePod will be powered by the same chip that powers the Apple Watch Series 8 models, the S8 processor. However, this chip will have the exact specifications as the S6 processor in the Apple Watch Series 6.

On top of that, the new HomePod will have an updated display across the top with multi-touch capabilities.

According to Gurman, Apple is also working on a new Apple TV model with an A14 chip and 4GB of RAM :

The new Apple TV, codenamed J255, is in development with an A14 chip and an additional gigabyte of RAM. This represents a nice leap forward from the model released in 2021 with the A12 chip. Thanks to the new chip, users will be able to take full advantage of the new features of tvOS 16.
