The supposed new Apple product designed to compete with Amazon Echo could have a camera and a feature for face recognition , reports CNET .
Citing sources familiar with the company’s plans, CNET describes the device as ” self-aware ” that is able to detect people in a room with a technology for recognizing faces.
Once you determine who is present in the room, the information obtained could be used to determine people’s preferences, “as the music and the lighting they prefer”, thus offering a customized interactive experience for every member of the house.
Apple working on a rival to Amazon News Echo emerged at the beginning of the week . Echo is a personal assistant at-home that has a built-in speaker and an artificial intelligence system. The California company device should be very similar, with Siri as the protagonist.
