Mass production of the iPhone 14 range will begin in August.
There are about 2 months left until the launch of the new iPhone 14 family and news arrives from China regarding the start of prototype production.
According to IThome, the Cupertino giant would start the trial production of the iPhone 14. After a thorough evaluation of the device, within a month it will start mass production.
Although iPhone 13 sales have been positive, Wall Street analysts believe the iPhone 14 should do even better. However, this contradicts analyst Brian White’s prediction that the iPhone 14 will have to cope with the economic crisis:
With a weaker economy and inflation, consumers may decide to wait for this period of economic hell to end before making such a purchase, White said in a note to customers.
While overall smartphone sales around the world have declined, Apple’s current iPhone 13 range reigns supreme in the market. Sales remain particularly strong in China. In June, blockages due to COVID-19 began to ease and the country resumed shopping.
Analyst Krish Sankar said this “sharp rebound in Chinese consumer demand” helped the iPhone 13 maintain its momentum even several months after its launch.
Not only do analysts believe the iPhone 14 will fare better, but Apple does too. IThome also mentions that the company has provided its suppliers with a slightly higher sales forecast than last year.
