The new version of watchOS 5 is available for all devices that do not support watchOS 6
watchOS 6 has been available for about a week, but the new operating system does not support the Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2 models, so Apple has released watchOS 5.3.2 for these devices.
watchOS 5.3.2 can be downloaded via the dedicated Apple Watch app on iPhone by going to General> Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch must have at least 50 per cent charge, must be connected to the charger and must be within the range of the iPhone.
According to Apple’s release notes, the watchOS 5.3.2 update provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.
