As announced a few days ago, Apple Music, Apple ‘s music streaming service, arrived on Amazon Echo devices, but only in the United States. This means that American users can connect their Apple Music account to the Alexa app in order to access the service directly from the Echo devices.
The integration, which takes place through a simple dedicated Skill , was scheduled for December 17 but it seems that Amazon has started the roll out of the service a few days in advance.
Apple Music subscribers will enjoy the 50 million songs of Apple Music on Echo devices. Customers can ask Alexa to play their favorite songs, artists and albums or playlists created by Apple Music publishers around the world, covering many activities and moods. Customers will also be able to ask Alexa to stream specialized radio stations on popular genres such as Hip-Hop, decades like the ’80s and even music from around the world, such as K-Pop. Ask Alexa to play Beats 1 to listen to the live streaming of Apple Music, including in-depth interviews with the artists – all completely without ads. Simply enable the Apple Music skill in the Alexa app and link your account to start listening.
