According to reports from the China Times, Apple will launch in 2019 the fifth generation of iPad mini (which would also have leaked a cover) and an entry-level iPad with a 10-inch display.

According to sources close to the production chain, iPad mini 5 will be presented in the first half of 2019 . Apple has not updated the mini line since September 2015, and a new device could be useful to boost sales of the entire iPad category, now slightly declining.

The voices are accompanied by the first photos of a cover for the alleged device, shared by SlashLeaks. These reveal that the tablet will have a photographic module similar to the last iPad Pro.

Four holes would appear for stereo speakers, and there is no lack for the standard 3.5 mm jack. Also present a hole on the side, probably for the Smart Connector.

The China Times report also reads about a new iPad with a 10 “display, which would replace the 9.7″ one. It should come in two versions, always in an attempt to increase line sales.

Are these really Apple’s plans for its tablet line? Will the Cupertino company return to the market in the first half of 2019 with new iPads? The voices (and photos) seem to lead to this, but we expect information from more reliable sources.
