Apple unveiled the iPhone 12 equipped with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, a flat-edged design, new colors, dual-lens rear camera system, and more.
The new Apple smartphone supports 5G and features a new industrial design with flat edges and thinner bezels. The iPhone 12 is available in five colors: black, white, red, green and blue.
The device features a Super Retina XDR display with 2,000,000: 1 contrast ratio, up to 1,200 nits of brightness and a resolution of 2532 × 1170 .
Apple has used a new finish for the glass of the front screen called “ Ceramic Shield ” which improves the life of the device. The company said it is stronger than any smartphone glass to date.
The iPhone 12 is powered by a new A14 Bionic chip . The A14 uses a 5 nanometer process to reduce the size of the transistor. Apple claims the new six-core CPU is up to 50% faster than any other smartphone. Furthermore, the new smartphone also includes a new 4-core GPU, which is up to 50% faster than the competition.
The company has updated the camera system on the iPhone 12 with a new 12 megapixel camera with a wider aperture . The new smartphone features a seven-element lens , which guarantees up to 27% better performance in low light conditions. Night mode is now also available on the ultra-wide angle and front camera.
