Apple announced today that the 28th edition of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), the conference bringing together the community of the most talented developers in the world, will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose. As of June 5, the WWDC will inspire developers to every area to turn their passions into new, exciting innovations and apps that customers can use every day on their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac.

 

The first day of the conference there will also be the keynote where it will be shown a preview of iOS 11 and the next software releases related to Apple Watch, Mac and Apple TV.

There will be 1,000 Apple engineers available to developers, ready to teach the latest Swift along with the most recent Sirikit, HomeKit, HealtKit and CarPlay.

Every year, during the WWDC, millions of talented developers from all over the world have the opportunity to discover the most revolutionary Apple technologies, from programming languages ​​such as Swift to the extraordinary development API, which Sirikit, HomeKit, HealthKit and CarPlay. These Apple technologies inspire programmers to continue to create new amazing experiences that cover every aspect of the lives of customers, helping them to improve the way they manage smart homes, car, health, and much more, thanks to over a billion active Apple devices.

Just a few minutes away from the new Apple headquarters in Cupertino, the WWDC 2017 will allow developers to have access to more than 1,000 Apple engineers, offering the opportunity to meet and discuss with them for the entire duration of the conference.

The McEnery Convention Center will be the hub for the thousands of attendees at WWDC offering great options for hotels, restaurants and entertainment, all within walking distance. In addition to the keynote, at rallies, in the sessions and workshops for developers, Apple is working with the city of San Jose and local businesses to celebrate the return of the WWDC with very special experiences that will be held in San Jose throughout the week.

Developers will be able to apply for tickets in the spring. The conference will be broadcast live on the Apple Developer website ( developer.apple.com/wwdc ) and WWDC app for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
