According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple plans to release the AirPods Pro 2 this fall, with a new design, better audio quality, and possibly some health-tracking features.
In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, the analyst notes that the current model has been on the market since the fall of 2019, so some users may find themselves holding a product with a deteriorated battery life.
Gurman’s report aligns perfectly with the one released a few months ago by well-known analyst Kuo. The latter also claims that the AirPods Pro 2 will arrive in the fall with a new design, new charging case and support for Lossless audio.
Finally, Gurman reveals that the company is working on new colours for the AirPods Max. The new colours are currently still being developed and may only arrive in 2023.
