A new report reveals that Apple may release the AirPods Pro 2 and third-generation iPhone SE in April.

After sharing potential details on the upcoming iPad mini, iPad Pro and iPhone 13 models earlier this week, Japanese blog Mac Otakara now says Apple plans to release the 2- generation AirPods Pro and third-generation iPhone SE in the ‘ April 2021, with the information once again coming from Chinese supplier sources.

AirPods Pro 2

The report says the new AirPods Pro will come with a new, slightly redesigned charging case . Specifically, the report states that the case will remain 21mm thick, but will have a height of 46mm and a width of 54mm. The current Charging Case for AirPods Pro is 45.2mm high and 60.6mm wide, so the new case will be slightly narrower.

The blog does not reveal any further details on the second generation AirPods Pro. In October, Bloomberg reported that the second-generation AirPods Pro will feature a  more compact design with no short protruding stem, with a rounded shape similar to Google and Samsung earphones.

iPhone SE 3

Additionally, Macotakara’s new report says Apple will also release a new third-generation iPhone SE in April, without revealing further details. Several leakers, however, expect Apple to release a Plus version of the device with a 5.5 or 6.1-inch screen.

Apple released the AirPods Pro at the end of October 2019, while the second generation iPhone SE was launched in April 2020.
