We are aware of the problems of actual availability of AirPods, a problem that has arisen since launching them on the market. But in spite of that, Apple’s branded wireless headphones dominate the market.

Since launching, AirPods have been available in limited quantities, but this has not prevented them from dominating the wireless headset market . A new report by the NPD research company reveals that Apple has overwhelmingly dominated this market sector this year, rushing to rivals such as Samsung and Bragi.

The report explains that over 900,000 wireless headset units were sold this year in the United States, and all over Apple’s AirPods. According to NPD, their success is due to factors such as brand resonance and strong interest in the W1 chip. In addition, the company declares that features such as integration with iPhone and Siri precede the quality of the audio.

Since launch in December, AirPods have obtained 85% of total US sales of wireless headphones, according to NPD Retail Tracking Service.

During the latest financial gain conference, Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company is stepping up production of AirPods, and shipping times actually seem to be shrinking in recent times.
