iMac M1 is being tested by the Apple team: Xcode confirms its arrival

Apple has begun the process of migrating to computers powered by an ARM processor and although the turn of iMacs has not yet arrived, we know that the release is around the corner.

To feed all the rumors, today is added a screenshot sent by the developer Dennis Oberhoff who, looking through the crash logs of his DaftCloud application, found traces of an iMac with ARM64 architecture , the one used by Apple with the M1 chip.

At the moment there is no Apple Silicon iMac on the market but it is clear that the company already has several units that are being tested in this period. The analytical tools of Xcode are unequivocal and cannot be misunderstood: the iMac M1 already exists and as soon as the tests and optimizations are finished it will finally be released to the public!

What we know about the iMac M1 so far

Actually not much. For the first time in many years, the iMac will change its appearance. The design should undergo some minor transformation in the central support and as far as the screen is concerned, the frame should be completely eliminated. These computers will be powerful enough to make the iMac Pros for which Apple has already ceased production “useless”. These new models should be available in a variety of colors.
