Apple pushes on the accelerator to establish itself in the field of TV content. The company has hired two experts in the field prior to the Sony Picture Television.

Apple today announced that Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg will join the company to help it create and manage original video content. The two will operate on a global scale, and bring back all at Eddy Cue.

Erlicht, Van Amburg leave then, Sony Pictures Television, where they served as presidents since 2005 and have made an important contribution in the creation of hit shows like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Crown and others.

” Jamie and Zack are two of the most talented TV executives in the world and have been of great help in making this the golden age of television ,” said Eddye Cue, Apple’s SVP. “We have big plans for our users and we look forward that they bring their experience to Apple – there’s more to come .”

” It will be an honor to be part of the Apple team ,” said Jamie Erlicht. ” We want to do for video content what Apple has done successfully with other services and products to its customers .” Instead these words of Zack Van Amburg: ” Apple is constantly attentive to delight the users with its products. We will bring the same spirit in Apple’s schedule and we could not be more excited for what comes next . ”

The recruitment of two such important figures represent Apple’s latest move to assert its presence in the market share of the original TV content, and arrive a few days after the broadcast (on Apple Music, ed) the first original show company, or Planet of the Apps . In addition, it will debut in the coming months Carpool Karaoke: The Series.
