Submission Essential Phone, the first smartphone of the new company founded by Andy Rubin. The smartphone has all the cards on the table to give a hard time to the top of the range established companies such as Apple and Samsung.

The new company Essential Products today announced its first products, including a modular smartphone titanium with edge-to-edge display. The head of the company is Andy Rubin , creator of the Android OS platform.

Essential Phone is characterized by a display from 5.71 “edge-to-edge with QHD resolution, and occupies almost the entire front part. The design is really interesting and bring the smartphone to compete, at least from this point of view, the Samsung Galaxy S8. The frames are very thin, with the upper part, at the center, which houses the front camera.

The materials used for the smartphone are titanium and ceramic , making it much more durable than the competition range top.

In addition to the twin-lens camera and sensor for fingerprint reading, the back of the device body houses the magnetic pin , useful to connect accessories.

Initially, the “Click” connector of the company will connect to the smartphone a room in 360 ° (always signed Essential, editor’s note), and charge your smartphone via the dock. Essential promises to make “cord-free” users, providing them with a customizable device to date. Essential Phone is equipped with a USB-connector C, but not a door to the standard 3.5mm jack.

The engine of Essential Phone is the Qualcomm processor 835, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The twin-lens camera is 13 “and supports 4K at 30 frames per second. The smartphone operating system is a particular version of Android, but the company promises that there will be pre-installed third-party software.

The device will be available in different colors, namely Black, Gray, White and Ocean Dephts. Essential Phone will hit the US market this summer at a price of $ 699.
