Federighi on stage at the Moscone Center has devoted some time to the new iPad, among which the Multitasking .
iOS 8 introduced the keyboard QuickType with suggestions, but with iOS 9 in the same bar as well as suggestions will also find the shorcut to cut, copy / paste, make bold text, add images, attachments etc. We may also use two fingers to perform actions on the keyboard, for example, scroll the page down, dragging two fingers on the keyboard (just as if there were, or like a trackpad).
Federighi presented (finally) multitasking. Double-clicking the Home button will see a new App Switching. By simply dragging your finger from the outside in, we can draw a smaller section within which open other applications. We may use the two applications simultaneously and adjust the size of each window in an arbitrary manner. If we want to switch to an app in full screen, simply drag it to the opposite edge. With two fingers on the keyboard can move the cursor, select text, cut and copy content or scroll pages. If you receive a notification when playing a video, it will not close, but will minimize and continue to operate on the screen.
Slideover for multi-app will be available only on iPad. The Split View feature of multitasking is supported only by iPad Air 2.
