Meta’s proprietary app is working to implement a new voice calling interface on iOS.

WhatsApp has been working for some time to improve the voice calling experience on its app.

The latest beta shows that the company is planning a new calling interface on iOS that will debut with a future update. As reported by WABetaInfo , in version 22.5.0.70 this new interface is already present when making voice calls.

Specifically, there are now waveforms visible in real time during calls. Thanks to this implementation, we will be able to know exactly who is speaking or who has accidentally left the microphone on.

WABetaInfo also claims that WhatsApp is working on bringing wallpapers to voice calls, although it is not currently possible to change them.

What do you think of this novelty?
