A new report reveals that the future foldable iPhone could come with a 7.3-inch or 7.6-inch screen and support for the Apple Pencil.
It has been rumored for some time now that Apple is planning to launch a foldable iPhone in the next 1-2 years.
Today, global tech research firm Omdia reveals that Apple may be launching a foldable iPhone with 7.3-7.6-inch OLED display and support for Apple Pencil as early as 2023. The report doesn’t mention the Apple Pencil directly, but it is a lot. likely to refer to it or a variant of the current iPad accessory.
With a 7.6-inch display, the foldable iPhone would be almost as big as the iPad mini, which has a 7.9-inch display. The latter has supported the Apple Pencil since 2019, so it would make sense that a foldable iPhone with roughly the same display size would support the accessory as well.
As for display technology, today’s report is in line with previous rumors that foldable iPhones will be equipped with an OLED screen, which will be provided by Samsung.
