Apple has introduced a new gesture for multitasking on the iPhone X. Users who have already tried it have found a remarkable improvement in using the app switcher.

As you will know, the new iPhone X will not have a Home button. This will be replaced by new  gestures  within iOS 11. With a simple  bottom-up swipe, we will return to the Home screen. By switching to the middle of the screen instead, we will open the app switcher to browse the previously open applications.

As you can see from the video below, running the semicircle on the bottom of the iPhone X, we’ll pass very quickly from one application to another. This feature will surely be very useful for quick multitasking on our smartphone. Apple will have to ensure that these  gestures will not affect the normal use of applications.
