Apple today launched a new repair program for iPhone 6s which suddenly goes off . The problem has been reported by several users and is certified by the Cupertino company. This has confirmed that this concerns only certain devices manufactured between September and October 2015.

Apple has determined that a very limited number of iPhone 6s may go off. It is not a safety issue and only affects devices that were produced between September and October 2015.

If you encounter this problem, go to an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider and proceed with the verification of the serial number of your device to ask for the replacement battery, free of charge , ‘reads the Apple support page.

Apple points out that all users who have paid for a battery change on their iPhone 6s (after reporting the issue in question), they may contact the company to ask for a refund.

Staying on the topic, the Cupertino giant has launched a few days ago a repair program for iPhone 6 Plus affected by the so called “Touch Disease”, or a problem with the loss of sensitivity of the touch screen. The price, in this case, however, is of 149 $.
